Andy Z has performed a number of times at the library and for various city events and always puts on a fantastic show. He and I have performed together for an event the last couple of years where a number of preschools come together for a morning of music and stories and I have just as much fun as the preschoolers in watching Andy perform. The kids love his songs and the interaction he mixes in to keep them involved. I highly recommend Andy who I describe as‘the hardest working man in preschool music’ whenever I introduce him because he puts everything he has into every show. Book him! |
Thank you for the great performances at the Belmont Greek Festival. You were even more fantastic than ever! What a great entertainer and storyteller you are! I think the songs, the voices, characters, dancing, singing, and CD mixes, all make your shows unique and outstanding. So different and so much more than your basic "guitarist-singer" children's entertainer, they can get boring for adults after a few songs. Your shows will never be boring! I think you are a "singing storyteller." And with your CD mixes, you practically have your whole band with you, too. They were great shows. |

Andy Z is a local hero to many children around the Bay Area because he inspires. He inspires kids to be creative, he inspires kids to imagine and most importantly; he inspires kids to have fun while being themselves! Nothing makes my heart quite as happy as watching tons of little kids running and screaming around when their favorite musician, Andy Z, comes to perform for them. Andy Z's upbeat songs with their catchy lyrics, can only bring smiles to people's faces- young and old. |
Hi Andy - A note to say how much my friend, her little girl, and I enjoyed your (Community School Of Music & Art) show on Saturday. What I really appreciated was the respect that you gave the kids – that no matter what they shouted out (or how well it related to what you were doing), you made them feel that what they contributed was of value – that it was either clever or funny. This kind of confirmation makes the kids more likely to interact, which is so much more fun for them. I loved how involved the audience was the entire time. I think your ability to connect with your audience is a gift, and, I have never seen my friend's little girl's face light up like that in all her years. |
